Carol Hartman/Education & Training Coordinator | | | Upon graduation from Boston University with BS in Nursing, she worked as a public health nurse. After moving to Connecticut she had the opportunity to join the faculty of Loomis Chaffee School where she continued to work for thirty-nine years. Her volunteer experiences at WIN-TV were responsible, in part, for work at school where she taught television production and was director of LCTV for twelve years, prior to her retirement.
Beginning as a volunteer producer in the early days of WIN-TV, Carol was soon asked to join the Board of Directors. At various times, she served the Board as Publicity Committee Co-Chair, Treasurer, and President. She and co-trainer Par Morando worked as volunteer teachers of all WIN-TV training classes for five years. After several years as a Director Carol took a vacation, but rejoined the WIN-TV Board in 2005, serving until 2010 when she resigned to take the Staff position as Education and Training Coordinator. As creator and original teacher of the WIN-TV summer children's workshop, she enjoyed seeing the program run successfully for several summers. She started this workshop (now "KidVid") anew in the summer of 2008; it has expanded every summer since then.

She also keeps busy by working for a local office supply company in Middletown, CT Suburban Stationers.
