.jpg) The Windsor Veteran's Day observance will be held Friday, November 11, 2011 in the Council Chambers located on the lower level of Town Hall, 275 Broad Street, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Veteran's Day address will be given by Windsor resident and "mom" to the troops, Ann Walsh.
Ann is the founder and coordinator of WIN-TV's SEND Windsor to our Troops program. She is also a member of WIN-TV's Board of Directors. Each month Ann and her volunteers from the Windsor community, schools and churches gather at WIN-TV to pack boxes of supplies and comforts of home such as baked goods to send to Windsor and Windsor-related servicemen and servicewomen serving in war zones.
