Mrs Walsh,
Thanks for the package. My soldiers appreciate all the thoughfulness that go into each one. My company is on a Combat Out Post (COP) in the coutskirts of Mosul, Iraq. They are not afforded the opportunity to shop at the post exchange as are others stationed on bigger camps so they do appreciate still getting personal hygiene items and yes bug repellent is big here. We are at the end of the rain season so there is a lot of standing water and a lot of mosquitos. The elections went well and we are trying to secure our area of operation to minimize the violence during the intallation of the new members of the government but you know there are always sore losers. Unfortunately over here that means an increase of attacks on Iraqi and coalition forces but we are doing well and looking forward to redeploying in November. Thank you again to all the people who make your program a success.
